The following updates have been made to Legal Considerations documents as of December 1, 2015. These clauses replace previously agreed to clauses per the second to last line of all previous Legal Considerations documents, which states "This agreement is valid from the date signed, and replaces any prior Legal Considerations agreements. Client agrees to any future Executive Pet Services term changes relayed verbally to the client, mailed or emailed in writing to the client, or posted on our website under the heading Notices and Updates."
  • Service Fee:
    • Vacationing Clients: To guarantee your reservation we require 100% of our service fee 2 weeks prior to your first scheduled service. For service scheduled in less than 2 weeks, 100% of our service fee is due at the time of booking.
    • Enrolled Dog Walking AND Daily Pet Visit Clients: To guarantee your reservations, clients booking monthly must pay for the first month at the time of booking. Subsequent months must be paid by the due date on each month’s invoice.
    • Drop-In Dog Walking Clients: Drop in reservations are final when requested by you and accepted by us. Cancellations will forfeit any service fees associated with that service. To guarantee your reservations we require 100% of our service fee at the time of booking acceptance for the entire reservation period.
  • Late Fee: In the event that the service fee is not paid by 5 days after its due date, a $20 late fee will apply. In the event that the service fee is not paid by 10 days after its due date an additional $5 PER DAY will apply up to $100 in total late fees ($20 initial late fee and then $80 remaining late fees). Service will be refused for any client with an outstanding balance that is 10 or more days past due and must be made current and in good standing including all recent charges before service can resume. Should any court action be needed to collect the amount due the client in delinquent status will also be responsible for any and all court costs, fees, and legal counsel.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Vacationing Clients: We require 24 hour notice should you need to cancel our service. Cancellations after this period will result in 100% of service fees for visits that were originally scheduled within 24 hours of the time of cancellation being forfeited. Cancellations prior to 24 hours will result in 100% credit to future service OR refund upon request.
    • Enrolled Dog Walking Clients: We require 24 hour notice should you need to cancel our service. Cancellations after this period will result in 100% of service fees for visits that were originally scheduled within 24 hours of the time of cancellation being forfeited. Cancellations prior to 24 hours will result in credit to future service up to a maximum of 25% of your enrollment for the month or refund upon request for up to 25% of your enrollment for the month. Holiday cancellations do not count towards the maximum allowance.
